Anna and John met at a technology conference in January of 1999 in Orlando, Florida. We met in passing at Sea World at a conference event. In September, we met up again in Columbus at another technology event. At the next year’s conference in Orlando we had our first kiss and were married on December 9th of the same year. The picture below was taken just a few minutes before Anna dragged John off into a corner for their first kiss. The rest as we say is history.

We picked up our first dog in September of 2002. His name is Buddy (his full name is 'my little buddy'). Anna and her sister found Buddy while taking a walk in Como, MS. They left him with Anna's Mom for a while, but he ended up being too much for her to handle, so we put him on a plane to Akron. We love him dearly - he's very smart and an amazing dog.

We got our second dog in April, 2003 right after we found out we were having twins.  Her name is Lucy and she's beautiful, but not too smart. We love her dearly.We didn't want Buddy get lonely when the twins were born, so we got Lucy for him. It's funny when you think about her name - everyone was so surprised that they call thought she looked like a 'Lucy' - too bad there was a special coming up on TV on Lucile Ball and we all (subconsciously) had that on our minds when we got her.

The twins were born in October of 2003 and they're just amazing. You'll find that it's them that I write the most about on the blogs. Of course we love them dearly too!
