Dexter Keep-Away
Posted September 23, 2014 in The Dogs, The TwinsDexter has started playing keep-away in the morning with neighbor kids as they wait for the school bus (the kids). He's gotten pretty good at avoiding the kids, no matter how many are chasing him.
Sick Dog
Posted July 19, 2010 in The DogsLucy's our big, not too bright golden. She's not feeling very well this afternoon - she threw up earlier and wouldn't eat her dinner (that never happened before). She's been camping out behind my office chair as I sat on conference calls, her comfort place as it were.
Dog Poop on the Stairs
Posted October 1, 2009 in The DogsSo I got up early this morning (like at 3:23 AM) and went off to the gym (at about 6). When I came home, nobody else was up (although someone should have been) so the dogs were there to greet me. I took them downstairs to feed them and when I came back upstairs I noticed that I had dog poo on my shoe and there was some on each of three alternating steps into the basement. I guess what happened was that one of the dogs (I didn't recognize the poo) had to go and let one piece sneak out on the way down to eat (eating been considered much more important than 'doing their business') and I inadvertently stepped in it.
